"Sydney 2000" Olympic-Centre, Ciolpani, Izvorani- Ilfov.

Number of competitors is unlimited. Leading teams, coaches and visitors from Balkan countries, Europe, and not only are welcomed. It will be an open championship, therefore all the competitors are welcome.

Placed near to the national road DN 1, atkm 33 from Bucharest, inCiolpani village turn right andfollow 3 kmto Olympic-Centre "Sydney 2000" which is located on near to SnagovLake.
For precise location set the GPS coordinates: Lat: 44.69944; Long: 26.133299.
The complex include two hotels for accommodation,  two restaurants, conference roomand Wi-Fi Internet.


HST 2019 Format
Europe's Cup and Balkan HST Championships will take part simultaneously, the achieved results being valid for both events.
The events will take part according to the already traditional formula of the IARU World/Region 1 HSTCs. Every exercise will be done once by a competitor, the results being valid for both events. The exercise in Receiving is not valid for Balkan HST championship. The results from the practice tests RUFZ and Morse Runner are valid for both events. The traditional transmitting exercise (3 texts) is valid for Europe's Cup, while an additional text is valid for Balkan HSTC only. As a result, compared with the traditional IARU World/Region 1 HSTCs, we have added only one more transmitting text.

Championship format
All official male and female categories (A to I) are welcome and will be awarded separately. Each country is allowed to participate with unlimited number of competitors in each category.

Any competitor scoring 1st till 3rd within his category, will be awarded a certificate, medal and souvenir. Competitors scoring 4th till 6th will be awarded with certificates.
Teams scoring 1st till 3rd will be awarded with Cups and certificates; teams scoring 4th till 6th will be awarded with certificates.


Will be organized at the Olympic Centre “Sydney 2000”.

By air:For the participants that will arrive at Bucharest Otopeni Airport by plane, we may arrange, on request, a shuttle to and from the Olympic Center for 8 EUR/person.

By car:Those who will travel by car they should arrive to "Sydney 2000"Olympic-Centre, Ciolpani, Izvorani- Ilfov.


Participants from NON-EU countries need a visa for entering in Romania. Upon request, FRR will send invitations to all participants from these countries in order to get their visas.

During this period of time, the temperatures are normally between 20-24˚C (in the daytime) and 15-16˚C during the night.
